In 2020, we signed a Memorandum with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the joint implementation of blended learning in Ukrainian schools.

In 2021, the DFE was among the headliners of a series of conferences on blended education within the framework of the All Digital Week 2021 – a European Week of Digital Literacy facilitating a comprehensive discussion on the skills for the sustainable future and ICT and development of digital skills of the society.

In May 2022, the DFE with its online partner GIOS received grant financing from the Swiss Fund Warlomont-Anger-Stiftung 2022: Sonderverwendung der Stiftungsgelder zugunsten von Projekten für Flüchtlinge und mit Flüchtlingen in der Stadt Bern for the implementation of the Project ‘Interesting and Useful Math from Ukrainian Teachers to the Ukrainian Migrant Children’. This Project helped 30 children refugees to study Math for 16 weeks from the best teachers.

In the spring of 2023, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the All-Ukrainian PlayMath competition project was launched and implemented, which attracted about 22,000 new students to the platform for studying mathematics and developing critical thinking from all regions of Ukraine and about 30 countries around the world.

The project was implemented under the support of UNDP in Ukraine in cooperation with GIZ through the international cooperation programme ReACT4UA (Re-use and Implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement in the area of trade) / EU4Business: Restoring Competitiveness and Internationalisation of SMEs"
